I love to take baths now that I can sit up and play. This is the first time I sat up by myself in my bathtub.

Panama City Beach for July 4th
Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Bird and I went to Panama City Beach on June 30 and stayed the entire week. Sport and Grams came down on Sunday and stayed the rest of the week with us. I had a great time. I sat on the beach under the umbrella (which I only enjoyed in 10 minute intervals), went out to eat at Shuckum's, Captain Anderson's and Angelo's, and saw the boats at the marina. Daddy took pictures of the fireworks on July 4th because I fell asleep and missed them. Daddy left my bear blanket at Shuckum's on Friday when we went to lunch with Sport and Uncle Bird. It took us an extra hour to get home on Saturday because Mommy made Daddy go back to find it.
Mommy, Daddy and I were all sick when we left for the beach on Saturday but felt much better by Sunday afternoon. The ride down was not so bad because I slept most of the eight hours it took to get there, but the ride back wasn't as pleasant. I was ready to get home and my mommy and daddy made me stay in my car seat the whole way. :( They said it was for my own good, but I was very uncomfortable!

My Visit with Eli and Kamdyn
Today my mommy and I went to Angie's house to visit with Eli, Kimberly, and Kamdyn. We had lunch together, played a while, took some pictures, and then I took a nap in Angie's red chair. It was the first time I got to meet Kimberly and Kamdyn. We had a great time and hope to get together again before Angie and Kimberly go back to school in August.

My Walker
My mommy thought it might be a good idea to see what I would do in the walker Sarah gave me. So she got out the walker and put it together. Needless to say, I'm not quite ready for it-I need to be able to sit by myself which I can't do just yet. I did like trying to chew the toy bar. Oh well! I'll try again in a couple of months.

Oconee Point Trip One

Sport, Grandma, Daddy, Mommy, and I all went camping for two weeks at Oconee Point from Tuesday, May 15 thru Tuesday, May 29. Daddy had to go to work each day, but Sport, Grandma, Mommy and I went on boat rides and sat out under the awnings and read and took lots of naps. These are some pictures of the fun times we had.

We went to Friendship United Methodist Church on Sunday, May 27. The church is teeny, tiny-there were only about 25 people there. While we were dressed up we took these pictures.
Mommy and Daddy bought us a camper!

2-Month Check up

I went to the doctor for my two-month check-up on April 30. Dr. Sanders says I look GREAT-my head, neck and legs are very strong for my age. I weighed 11 pounds, 9 ounces and was 23.5 inches long. I got four shots and an oral vaccine. The oral vaccine was yummy and I drank it right up. However, I was not as impressed by the shots and my mommy had to comfort me for a few minutes before we could go home. I ran a low-grade fever and my mommy gave me Tylenol for the next 24 hours, but luckily I didn't have any major reactions.

My First Beach Trip
My mommy and I went to Huntington Beach State Park with Sport and Grandma the week of April 16-22. It was our first overnight camping trip, and we went without daddy because he had to work. The weather was a little cold but we had a great time. Sport, Grandma and mommy ate lots of seafood, and we all walked on the beach. We visited with Larry and Connie (our tailgating friends from Myrtle Beach), and we visitied Aunt Candy in Hartsville, SC on Saturday.

My Visit With Sallie
Thomas's cousin Ward, his wife Julie, and their little girl Sallie came to visit Warren today. Sallie has grown so much since the last time Thomas and I saw her! She's eating baby food and sitting up on her own now! Warren enjoyed visiting with Sallie and hopes they can get together again really soon.

One Month Check-Up
Warren went for his one month check-up today. He got a great report (as usual). He weighed 9 lbs. 6 oz. and was 22 1/2 in. long. Dr. Sanders said he was a strong little boy and she'd see him again at two months when he'll start his immunizations. She said to prepare myself because he will get four shots at the next visit--I hope I can handle it!

My Visit With Jacob, Sydney, and Emma
Last night Thomas's friends Clay and Kim came to cook out with us. They brought their children-Jacob, Sydney, and Emma. These are some pictures we took. The girls were very excited to see Warren and brought him two presents- a wrist rattle and two cute outfits. We all had a great time and hope they will come back to visit us again soon!

Tummy Time
Today I went to Babies R Us and got Warren a Boppy Activity Gym. This is supposed to help him strengthen his head and neck muscles while lying on his tummy. He's gotten pretty good at this just from laying on Thomas and me, but I thought this might give him something to do while I cook dinner, clean, etc. These are some pictures we took of his very first "tummy time" session.

Going Camping
Warren's first real outing was on Saturday, March 10. We went to Twin Lakes to visit Sport and Prissy while they were camping. Abby and Scooter met Warren for the first time, but they weren't too sure about how to take it. Abby finally calmed down and left Warren alone, but Scooter kept watch over Warren almost the entire evening while trying to figure out exactly what was in the carrier.

First Doctor Visit
Warren's first doctor appointment was on Tuesday, February 27. He had to have his circumcision checked to be sure it was healing properly, and they wanted to check his weight since I am breastfeeding to be sure he was getting plenty to eat. He got a good report and his weight had dropped to 6lbs. 8oz, which they said was normal for the first couple of weeks. This is a picture of him before we left the house for his first "outing."

My First Bath
The First Few Days
Thomas and I brought Warren home on Friday, February 23, and the first few days were very hectic. Between feedings every 3 hours and Warren not wanting to sleep in his Pack N Play, we have been very sleep deprived. Thomas actually slept in the recliner holding Warren for the first couple of nights. Luckily we've had some help from my mom and sister and Thomas's mom. I don't know what we would have done without them...
These pics are ones we took when the great-grandparents came to visit on Saturday after we came home from the hospital.
Thomas's grandfather was a pilot in the Army and Warren's room is decorated in airplanes, so Thomas's mom had his grandfather's Army jacket put in a shadowbox to hang in Warren's room.
